Creating and translating a language file and modifying the style CSS in a custom theme allows to nicely have Arrowchat in a RTL language.
However two items I have not been successful to correct are:
1. In the PopUp chat window the Right and Left pane for chat window and member list need to be swaped, modifying the source php file with the following
a. change the header from ltr to rtl and changing the en-gb to he-il will just move the members pane to the right and it will be z-indexed below the chat pane that will not move.
b. swapping the DIV code for both panes will not fix the issue too.
Can any customizations other then the he.php file can be made outside of the arrowchat source file to tell it to mirror the interface for RTL language. if I must do it in the source code what would be the proper way.
2. Second issue is that certain buddypress/wordpress pages are not named in EN but in HE thus the view member profile will not be
http://www.domain.com/members/name
it will be
http://www.domain.com/חברים/name
which are the translated names created by the localized Wordpress, so current root links go to Page not found.
hopefully these items can be corrected easily rather then me modifying more source code to comply with rtl language, which will be a burden in upgrades.
