Translate Page - make it clear when a language is selected

Hi,

is it possible to add something to make it clear when an alternative language has been selected. My users complain that when the select a language, it doesn't look like it is doing anything, so they keep clicking the chosen language.

Ideally there needs to be some feedback that a particular language has been selected (i.e. maybe the background changes colour to make it look pressed).

Is this possible? Is there something I can add to the code to make it do this?
