The chatrooms are now live to demo for customers. I'd like to keep this thread open for suggestions and bugs specifically related to the chatroom feature. We'd like to clean up the feature before releasing it here shortly.

Please note that there are some chatroom features that are either disabled or cannot be seen due to it being admins only. Some of this includes the option to turn off chatroom creation, the time that users must wait before creating another chatroom, the length in minutes that a user created chatroom lasts, a flood limit for messages in chatrooms, the ability to make users moderators and administrators, the ability to create admin only and password protected chatrooms, the option to close a chatroom, and the ability to kick or ban users from a room.

Will there be an option to disable the chatroom from popping up on page load?

I assume you are talking about an option to stay in the chatroom and not have it pop up? I actually was just thinking about this feature as I created this thread and will be adding it shortly.

Just a couple of things I've noticed at first glance...

It doesn't look/style well in chrome, using 5.0.375.126

In firefox it constantly says Waiting for channel.arrowchat.com...

Also got kicked out of chat room whilst typing a message.

Cheers.

Clear your browser cache, it should look fine. The Firefox issue is an ongoing issue not related to the chatrooms. I'm not sure how you could get kicked out, can you provide more information on how this happened?

Yep, clearing browser cache worked fine. Just did another test and no bump so must've been something else.

Well that's not a bad idea either lol..but I was actually talking about not having the actual arrowchat toolbar make the chatroom window pop open every single time I visit the site.

edit: nevermind, that option is already there. I saw in option I had to un-check keep chatroom window open.

ps. does that color of the chatbar theme look a little different? some enhancements?

Click chatrooms > click options > click "Keep Chatroom Window Open"

Just a few changes that you probably wouldn't notice. We're going to be releasing a bunch of new themes after v0.2 is released.

There already is an option. I believe that the reason for people's chatroom popup already being open is that we created the database before the feature, so we used a default value of 0 when it should have been -1.

It's looking good ... lets just release it now ??

Our site has slowly been dying since the move from CC to AC a couple of months ago and we just want to get things moving ....

Looking and working well. Looking forward to upgrading. Hopefully it's just round the corner because like steve501 my site is in dire attention for functions like the integrated chat room. :)

We don't see it as an upgrade CAlchin but rather getting what we had believed we had paid for from the outset and this customer is losing his patience ....

Starting to make feel like a beggar in our eyes when we thought we 'had' already paid for something and the 'check your account' every fracken day is a joke ...
