Here are some features that you can look forward to on the v1.7 update. Most of these have already been implemented, but a few may be delayed until next version. Of course, we've left out a few things too:

Facebook integration
HTML5 desktop notifications
Blocked words
Major chat room improvements
Show chat history as you scroll
Mobile chat improvements
Anti-bot protection to limit the database size
Desktop application (Delayed)
Interface improvements

We never provide release dates. It'll be here "soon".

yeah as ric006 was telling, will there be a proper mobile support? like facebook instant messenger. That option would be heaven for users!

Is it too late for a request?? :)

With the mobile chat, is it possible to have an option to enable a login screen thats mobile friendly? :) Just looking at using the mobile chat in a iOS app, and it requests to login.

Would really make the mobile version more flexible. (hopefully I've not missed anything) :)

How it is now: :)

Will the tabbed browsing bug be fixed? If you open multiple tabs the messages do not sync between them, and in some cases new chat messages aren't received at all until the page is refreshed (I'm not too sure if this is exclusive to using the Push service or not).
