Arrowchat on a Subdomain

How would I load Arrowchat on a subdomain? I have it calling sub.website.com/arrowchat/external.php and the subdomain is connecting to the user database, but it always looks for local files and folders, when I remove the directory from the main site I get a bunch of 404 errors.
