Messaging Offline users

Is it possible to leave a message for a user that is not online so that when they login there is a message waiting for them?

I agree. This is a big flaw and works negatively in social networking site. Should kit have to search and just have users offline on buddy list like MSN and Yahoo and other messengers did.
