Has anyone had the chance to test out the new automatic upgrade process from the ArrowChat admin panel? I'm curious to see just how many people this is working for.

I just tried it, I was going to send you a ticket about it.
It got through a few steps it seems, then I saw this error at the very bottom of the page
Fatal error: Class 'ZipArchive' not found in /home/userownage/public_html/forums/arrowchat/admin/system.php on line 723
(this happened at the unpacking step, after it said arrowchat was downloaded)
The process froze after this. Any idea what's causing that error?

The zip PHP extension needs to be installed on your server. I'll have to update the process to check for this before starting.

I just tried it on socialengine 4.1 and it worked perfectly. Very nice.

I tried using it and the upgrade process stalled. The repair function didn't work either, and now I have an arrowchat database error. I submitted a ticket but I'm still waiting for some help.

The username/password that you should enter is the one from ArrowChat.com.

We'll most likely automate that eventually.

Seemed to work fine for me (not sure I would know if it didn't, though ;) ). And in the acp it does show up as 1.0.1 (though I suspect that just proves the db was updated). Assuming it all worked, very nice job jason.

What facebook theme fix? I am using new_facebook (not new_facebook_full)...is there something I need to do to it that the autoupgrade process doesn't take care of?

FB_Full is the only theme that works so far for 1.0, you are actually going to be missing some of the new features if you are still using an old theme.
Make sure to install fb full, set that as default, and turn off the other themes. You can see what I mean in arrowchat admin panel>Manage themes. You will see red text next to the themes that don't work, and fb full will say v2.0, which is what you want.

Thanks, arrowfan. But when I go into the manage themes part of the admin panel:
- it shows both facebook and facebook_full,
- each is listed as version 2.0 and
- there is no red text next to either.
And new facebook (the one where the bar does not go accross the page) appears in the store as version 2.0 *see
http://www.arrowchat.com/store/app.php?id=7 ). Seems like maybe it got updated since the last time you checked?

Nothing too urgent, or problematic.

Thanks. See my reply to that ticket:
tracker.php?mode=reply&p=1&t=99Have you tried to enable the option to keep the friends window open and then open the list and refreshed or gone to another page? Does that work ok for you or does it split the list and the tab apart?

I just wanted to add that all the themes have been upgraded to 2.0 which supports 1.0+ except for the customer made "dark theme".

I've just seen what you mean. I also have that issue! :(

Aha, I thought it was just my funny coding fixed width phpbb3. Are you also fixed width and are you also using this on phpbb3?
Interestingly, the splitting apart - which happens on my FF browser at home - does not happen on my work pc (which is stuck with IE8). Do you see a browser dependent difference?
