We're now running an alpha version of ArrowChat Lite here on arrowchat.com.

Comments/Suggestions?

File size and execution time were cut by more than 50%. The load time appears to be even quicker than that.

The bar hasn't appeared for me for days Jason any ideas as to why? I'd love to try it out

Browser and version?

I see the navigation numbers in each side of bar "< 1", like when we have multiple windows open. But... I have not multiple chat windows open.

There is a problem with FireFox/Opera that I'll be fixing tomorrow. Other browsers should work now.

I don't see the bar in safari either...

Lite doesn't have chatrooms?

Of course not, we're going after speed. Chatrooms add a lot of bulk to the code. If you want those extra features, you'll need the full version which we'll be optimizing shortly.

The lite version was taken down temporarily, we'll be putting it back up soon.

Can lite be installed parallel to regular arrowchat so users can choose which one to use?

Apparently you are back to the full version here on the forums, but... I still see the scroll on the sides of the bar... when I don't have that many chat windows open in Opera. This did not happens before.

Is there a lite theme available that only displays 3 or so inches of the bar on the right hand side like Facebook instead of the bar all the way across?

if so can't wait to buy another license!

Yes, the New Facebook theme already available.

Will existing license holders be able to download this for free (thinking about downgrading as I only use Chat on the site)?

And when do you expect Lite to be ready for sale :D

Im not sure if this is chat lite or not, but what about a version that just removes applications, links, games, etc. So it is just chat, chatroom, notifications, show/hide chat bar. that is exactly what I would like :lol:

No idea what our pricing is going to be yet. It may end up just being an option in the admin panel.

You basically just said you want everything, so you'll be on the full version. ;) However, we'll be optimizing it shortly to make it a lot faster.
