I've seen a few people talk about duplicate messages in chat rooms. I have been unable to reproduce this bug whatsoever, so I'm asking you guys for help! Anyone see this and know the exact steps to reproduce it?

I am getting it here. I chatted briefly yesterday with someone, and every time I reloaded the browser, whether it was the same page or a different page....the message although already closed, would reappear...with the messaged received notification. Sometimes I would get all messages from the previous conversation, other times I would get just the last one. So far today though I am getting nothing....knock knock

Thanks for the feedback.

This is the one thing we're waiting on until the release of 1.5.11. I'm going to assume this isn't an issue anymore should I not hear anything else on it (since I cannot reproduce it).

I also wanted to make the distinction between chat rooms and normal one-on-one chat. I can reproduce an issue with the one-on-one chat displaying new message alerts twice but I cannot get anything with the chat rooms.

Perhaps this was just an error in terminology and the other users meant one-on-one chat.

My apologies Jason, I intended to mention one on one chats, I do not use chat rooms. In all honestly I do not chat with people here. I simply hang around waiting for updates. As for the duplicate messages...nothing sense that one individual a couple of days ago. So all looks good on my end.

Still having this issue during our Live events on MyMiddle-earth.net

The Sender of messages sees their own message double in the chat window.

But all the other users of the room only see it come through once.

I got duplicated messages just when I used push service and only in CHAT ROOM.
