Users not login in on PHPFOX

I installed arrowchat on phpfox 4.4.
- arrowchat reads the users from db so no config problem
- arrowchat debug shows no problems
- used firebug, no apparent errors
but arrowchat does not recognize log-ed in users, no names, only guests if that option is active
Please suggest possible fixes.
