I cannot complete the web installation. It gets to the last step "Configuration" and then it fails with the error message: Oops! There is an error:
We were unable to connect to your database. Please go back to the database settings page. This might also be an indication that your session timed out or PHP sessions are not working entirely.
It was able to connect to the database at the "Database" step. Please advise.

I've only ever seen two reasons for this message.
1. The database connection info is wrong
2. PHP sessions are not working

PHP sessions are working, I tested by setting two session variables and then I read them and got the correct results. So, at the final step, doesn't it use the settings for the database that I entered at the beginning that it indicated it connected to the database?

Test and confirmed PHP sessions were not working.
