PHP 8

Updated my server to PHP 8.1 and arrowchat stopped working. Is a supported update coming?

v4 and the last v3 both support PHP 8+.

Does anything need to be changed when updating PHP? When we had 8.1 going the chat embed would only half load but not actually let you in the room or display the users online.

1. Did you manage to solve the problem with PHP8 ?
I am using ArrowChat 4.02 which I just downloaded 2 days ago.

2. I have PHP 7.4, arrowchat works fine.
When I started PHP 8.1, does NOT work.
Stop PHP8.1 and Restart under PHP 7.4, it works fine.

I’d need to see your site running 8.1 with ArrowChat to diagnose. It does work normally but it’s possible you have some weird setting or perhaps something wrong with the install.

Nope. Still can't get it to work with php 8.1 and ioncube v12.0.4

Again, there aren’t any known issues with PHP 8; I’d need to see your site.
