hello,
we are new trying the 4.x series......seems smooth with the php but i was told redis is breaking something so had to be turned off....we wish to continue using redis, what configuration option is there to help us leave that enabled?

It probably has to do with the way XenForo gets the cookie when using Redis. You'll probably need to do something like this: https://xenforo.com/community/threads/a ... st-1566041 but I've never had anyone using Redis before, so I don't know exactly how the function needs to be changed.

i am not sure either.....redis does offer significant advantages however, so we do not wish to revert to memcached....its is a bad thing to feel forced to choose between this chat we just renewed and redis....

can you please say if/when you will offer support for redis?

and if it helps we can assist in the ticket we already began...
