How to see who you have chat with in the past

How can you see a list of who you have chat history with in the past. If you close a chat it seems you have no way to find that chat again at a later date. The only way seems to be if that person is online in the online list you can click on the user and your new chat then shows your chat history?

Correct. There is no list of past conversations. You would need to open a conversation with them to see the history. You can use the search if they are not online.

I have made a history.php from extracting what is used in the admin center to view user chats.
It will show the history for everyone each user has chatted with.
