Not able to install arrowchat_v1.0.5.zip

I am trying to do a fresh install.

I would be using "arrowchat" with "JomSocial" and "Joomla", therefore uploaded the arrowchat_v1.0.5.zip to the root of public_html folder.

While extracting the file i am getting the error as attached. Everywhere it says "checkdir error: arrowchat exists but is not directory", it only creates 2 files namely instruction and arrowchat.

Please let me know what is the problem and how to correct it, i have a branding free license.

Complete Error
Archive: /home/expertsc/public_html/arrowchat_v1.0.5.zip
extracting: arrowchat
checkdir error: arrowchat exists but is not directory
unable to process arrowchat/popout/js/popout_libraries.js.
checkdir error: arrowchat exists but is not directory
unable to process arrowchat/popout/js/popout_core.js.
checkdir error: arrowchat exists but is not directory
unable to process arrowchat/popout/index.php.
....

Woah...for the future, there is no need to post threads this long. I've shortened it :)

If you're on Mac, view the Mac download instructions. If you're on windows, try using WinRar or double clicking the zip file and dragging the folder outside instead of right click > extract.

It's sometimes hard to extract files remotely while they are on your server (it depends on how your host has things set up). It may be easier for you to extract the zip file locally (on your own pc) and then upload the extracted folder and all of its contents to your site via ftp. Just a thought.

You just need a different extractor besides the default Mac one. Pacifist works and can be downloaded here: http://www.charlessoft.com/
