Hi, just wanted to ask which file to edit and where the edit is made to change the icon for this app on the bar and in the app menu? Also what dimension should I try to make the new icon in terms of pixels? Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure which browser you're using but this function should exist in all of them. In Firefox, you can right click the button and click "view image" and it will show you the path to the icon in your URL bar. The original icon is 16x16 so you probably want to keep it the same size.
