Setting for frequency of buddy list check

It would be nice to have a setting where we can set how often the buddy list refreshes for the users. We use the popup out and when there's several hundred people in the room it slows down the server with such frequent updates. Or make that a socket thing. Or cache the data for a period of time. Something to reduce the CPU drag.
