when my chat room gets over 55 users or so it starts to lag on login and the chat room and member list will start to disappear. using windows 2019 server, mysql 8

This sounds like a server issue and not a bug. I would recommend that you look into our push service and MySQL replication with the master/slave feature. These two things alone should greatly improve performance.
