First of all, I apologize if you've ever had a rude customer contact you through our chat system. We do not condone this in any way and would like to know what you think about it.

We always monitor the chat going on at ArrowChat.com, and we've noticed quite a few circumstances where customers are being extremely rude demanding that someone help them and even cases of vulgar language if they refuse. This is completely unacceptable, and it is a person's choice if they're willing to help or not.

We'd like to know what you think about this? Have you had problems with rude members contacting you? Should we do anything about it? Warn them? Do nothing? Let us know what you think.

Chatting is great, but please be respectful to each other.

I'll like to remind everyone they have the option of going invisible or offline.

Include the option to block users, and if you are using an integration (like vBulletin) then tap into its blocking system

Block users is definitely coming in v1.1, but what about until then?

I guess everyone has a different threshold for these kinds of things. I've gotten a few unsolilcited demands for help but they don't bother me much (I've just ignored them). I suspect that it may be more trouble than it's worth for you to try to play policeman on this. But maybe this sort of behavior annoys others more than it annoys me?

Thanks for the feedback ashinsh and VMalhotra. Unless I get more feedback on this, right now it seems like it's not a huge deal. We're just going to keep it as is for now.

So far I have not received any disrespect from arrowchat members, only a few friendly chats or nothing at all.

I have received a few messages in regards to help but have never been threatened. If all else fails, we can go into "Offline" mode.
