I have a very slim Idea, it's not really based on anything, but what if there was a fake user or bot regged as a global friend to everyone for arrowchat. And how it would work is when a person makes a thread, or post thats in a subscribed thread, the bot would message the user about it without refreshing the page. I have not really elaborated on this, I could make it since I have experience with vb and bots and its hooks, but I would like to know if this will be within ArrowChat out of the box.
It's probably not ideal to focus only on vb, but it IS the most popularly used bulletin board. I also figured it wouldn't take much for a mod like that.

Yes, you can use the site notifications options in ArrowChat to do things like this. It works almost identical to the Facebook notifications.
