Hi.
Can you tell me where announcements are saved.

I was hoping they would be saved in a mySQL table, but it seems this is not the case.

Ultimately I am looking to send scheduled "broadcast" announcements at regular times.

Can you help?

OK ignore the above question as I have worked it out.

But my next question is, why would you only make Announcements to logged-in Users.

Surely, its better to set Announcement=0 for ALL THE USERS in se_users table, and not the few Users logged into the site (in arrowchat_status)

What say you?
Any help making this modification?

You can certainly change the default value to 0 if that's what you want.

Sorry I did not explain it.

"se_users" table has 1000 registered users

"arrowchat_status" has say 100 users listed (i assume they are recent online users)

Will every user logging into the site view the announcement? - OR has the announcement only been broadcast to the users in "arrowchat_status" (and so will not be displayed to others) ??

The users in the arrowchat_status table are not generated until they login. When they login, their row will be created and they would see the announcement.
