Well after a lot of deliberation I've taken the plunge. Being a recent customer of CometChat, I've found it stupidly awkward to customize and a severe lack of support from their team. After receiving fantastic support through cometchatmods.com, it would only be wise to move over to arrowchat. As I know that the correct support will be given and the chat system would be feature rich. Roll on Friday! (if it's still on target) The only down point is knowing that I've lost $129 to cometchat! oh well! :)

I'm wanting to buy in early, I check this site everyday but always get discouraged when I see the release date is constantly being changed with a promise of a demo "TODAY!" that never came doesn't make it any easier of a decision. I've already been burnt on cometchat don't want to get burnt on another one.

We expected to have a demo today, but it didn't happen. I can say that we've learned our lesson with promising dates. We're going to take the route of every other company and not say dates anymore. Everything will now be "soon".

I'm in the same boat as transamken - I want to purchase Arrow Chat but I really want to see the demo first.

I am currently using comet chat but fed up with their non-existent support.

Since the dates keep getting put back is there a mailing list I can join to be notified when the demo is released so that I don't miss out on the reduced purchase price? I would just buy Arrow Chat as I am 90% certain it will be a big improvement on Comet Chat but been burnt in the past and just want to see what I am buying before I buy it.

If we don't have a demo up tomorrow, we'll extend the pre-order price by one more day until we do.

How about a mailing list to alert people when the demo comes out? We are checking here a couple times a day and leave disappointed, which leads to the impatient posts. I think the availability of a mailing list would cut back on the complaining, and will probably improve sales on the day the demo is online.

We apologize for pushing the release date back further, but it was out of our control. For legal and logistical reasons, ArrowChat cannot be released on Friday. We have set the new launch date to Tuesday. Thank you for your understanding.

I'm dissapointed just the same. Is it not possible to release a lite version with less features

Did anyone even read what he wrote?

No worries Jason, do what you guys gotta do to get things done right. My small community is excited about what this will offer and doesn't mind the extra wait. We understand that you obviously aren't putting off the release purely to hear people complain every time it gets delayed.

To be fair, a good product is worth waiting for imo. If Jason & co pushed a beta or a limited version through no doubt it would lead to a few problems along the way on our own sites and push back the release date of the full / final version of arrowchat. Although I've parted with my hard earned cash, I'm happy to wait - even if the expected date of Tuesday the 2nd of March is pushed back further. Keep up the good work, I'm sure this will be the highlight of my community in due time.
