We feel that some features still contain too many bugs, and do not live up to ArrowChat standards. Instead of delaying ArrowChat further, the first version will not have a full feature set. Bellow is our anticipated schedule:

Version 0.1 > First Release (Released)
Version 0.2 > Chatrooms Feature (Released)
Version 0.3 > Popout Chat Feature
Version 0.4 > Additional Applications Improvements, CSS Improvements, Animations, Multiple channel subdomains
Version 0.5 > Additional Integrations Added (Being added in v0.1.30 instead)

Version 1.0 > Stable release with all features and bug fixes

As we learned before, we are not going to announce any release dates for this schedule, but these updates will be coming very quickly so be sure to check for updates in the admin panel daily.

I know you're all working very hard, so thank you for that but - :( Please don't ever use release dates again lol. I'll wait rather than upgrade to a new version every time.

Unless you immediately get into some heavy modification, the upgrade process will simply be overwriting 1 or 2 files.

All the same, i'll wait - you can never tell what the road is ahead with ArrowChat now :( You can't blame me for feeling a little apprehensive after these letdowns. I know you want a solid product and I appreciate you must all be working flat out but it's been like 3-4 missed deadlines when most of us have announced to our members "new chatbar coming blah or next week"

Sounds like a good roll-out plan. So are we on schedule for v0.1 tomorrow? It's not too much of an issue, just need some sort of plan to get rid of CC at some point :? 8-)

I second that as well, we all know that great product needs time to build, but for the sake of the customers who pre ordered, we would like a solid statement. Isn't it better if your team did an alpha or beta testing and completely rolled out the features before announcing something?

We just want you guys to be prepared before saying out something, if your team is on our shoes, you'll be frustrated as well. But like as expected, we cannot avoid uncertainties that comes along our way. I just hope the anticipated features wont take long again before its released.

We understand this, and we really appreciate everyone being so incredibly patient. We've tried to provide accurate release dates all along, but for one reason or another we were not able to make them. Overall, we are only behind 27 days from our original estimated release date.

Ultimately, we aren't going to release something that doesn't perform well. If we still don't feel comfortable by tomorrow, then we'll delay it again. In the end, it's going to save our customers a lot of headaches by delaying the product by another week than releasing something unfinished.

Check the announcements section in the morning on Tuesday. If it releases on Tuesday, it wont be downloadable until later that night. If it does not, it should be available Wednesday morning.

Thank you! At least you guys are working hard, I just hated every time I logged in to download and I got "download is unavailable" and then see you guys pushed it back again! I am a web-scripter as well so I know the utter frustration of not being able to get it done in time lol... In fact before I read this I was just planning on doing a step up system like what you are doing for a patch I am working on in my game lol... :) I am glad I spent the money even though CC and impatience makes me wanna pull my hair out! :p

Thanks for the update, please don't take this the wrong way, but I hope you're not planning on starting the clock on people's annual support until version 1.0 stable is released. I'm sure everyone is willing to help you beta test your product, but I don't think it's fair to count part of our yearly support against a partially crippled product that is still in the pre-release stage.

Of course not! The clock starts at v1.0. It gives us some incentive to finish it faster ;) .

Jason, it's really been a long wait now. What is the update, when would we have 'arrowchat' released.
