We'd had a lot of technical support questions since release so not a whole lot of time has gone into development. Now that the initial rush has ended, we'd like to outline a few things that we have palnned for ArrowChat within the upcoming days and weeks.

  • Chatrooms
  • Popout Chat
  • Application Improvements
  • Notification Improvements
  • ArrowChat Announcements
  • Facebook connect - chat with your Facebook friends - Delayed until v1.0+
  • Additional Integrations
  • Bugs, bugs, and more bugs - we know there are a lot of bugs and we'll be fixing them all shortly
  • More themes
  • A whole lot more options in the admin panel
  • Point System with XP bar - Delayed until v1.0+
  • Group Chat - Delayed until v1.0+
  • Multi-Language Support
  • Multi-Channel Support
  • The opening of our store to developers

...and a whole lot more.

We've only just begun. 8-)

Congratulations again onthe success of arrowchat. I didn't have the chance to congratulate you upon the first release, but i tell you the updates these days are quite fast now. I hope this will continue until version 1 is released. Keep up the good work and we're just here to support you. :D

Niice! Though I hope many of those things are plugins/modules and not hardcoded. :x I really don't have a need for some of those features, like Facebook Connect compatibility or point system.

Hopefully we can see an ability to integrate with systems already in place, for example people already using jQuery with the variable $... :) Good work by the way, just frustrated trying to find a work around for this... :P

As always, everything is optional.

I know you guys are working round the clock.. no doubt.. but I have to revert back to cometchat until arrowchat gets at least the features and stability cometchat has... It's far to clunky, it doesn't show the new messages in the title bar... members that have to man friends causes the browser to die... there's no invite friends, youtube links don;t pull in the video in the chat... the notification part which I really needed and is the thing that made me pay for this product before launch...

Please note I am not knocking arrowchat... I am merely saying that this product is still in infancy and I believe once everything is ironed out it will be a great product, if the screen shots are anyting to go by.. but at the mo my users a moaning so I have gone back to comectchat, I'll keep an eye on the next release... when it comes

Opps one last thing... comet chat shows the toolbar to users which are not logged with a little yellow triangle warning sign to invite them to log.. this I find lets people know there is a bar there before they log in hence users will at least know it;s there

Me also. I bought it exactly because of the new features, CC hasn't. I really hope, they will not be released 100 days before my license expires, because I'm not using it right now.
Great job anyway, no doubt that you'll beat CC ;)

License won't start to "expire" until v.10 is released. This has been said repetedly in posts recently :) They should announce it though to avoid confusion.

*Your license and support time will reset upon the release of ArrowChat v1.0

This has been in the members section below the expiration bar for a while now.

By the way: Very impressive! It runs very nicely and with a few tweaks for my standalone version its is 100x easier to modify than "that other chat"! LOL...
