The long awaited v1.0 is coming. Now, v1.0 probably won't include all the features in the list below. The two features that are almost a 100% certainty to make it will be the upgrade process and popout chat as well as the opening of the store. Other features that don't make it in v1.0 will be released shortly after (v1.1).

We're working on the following for this update:
  • Automatic upgrade process from the ArrowChat admin panel
  • Popout Chat
  • Option to re-position anything on your bar
  • Multiple tabs being open will not cause issues
  • Multi-language
  • Multi-channel
  • Application improvements
  • Plugin system
  • File transfers
  • European time format option
  • Opening of the store
Note: This is by no means a complete list of features. Some features may be added or removed in the official release.

UPDATE: Looks like we'll be implementing nearly all of the features in this outline. We've included a ton of important bug fixes and changes as well.

We don't run the latest developments on here. The holidays also made us lose 10 days.

oh, alright. I saw there was new updates (language, twitter, facebook and so on) on the chat bar here on the site, so i thought you were running the last updates.

I have another question, regarding the javascript file.

JavaScript Compression - No more working with tightly compressed JavaScript files! The arrowchat_core.js file is now beautified and compresses when loaded. The file is also 36% smaller.

Is this new javascript file cached properly?

I tried make a test - copied all the contents generated into a normal .js file - and the load speed of the site inscread considerable.

Sometimes the external.php?type=js takes 5 or 10 seconds to load, and it does loads on all pages for as far as I could tell. Every singular page I would go on in the site.. it would loads that file.

But when I did put it into a .js file, it never loaded anymore... loaded first time and then I would browse normally around and the page loads kept very fast. (less than 1 second to full load a page... sometimes would even be around 500ms)

...

Besides.. another very simple question, is it easy to reduce the height of the bar? I noticed this bar on here got some pixels "fatter".

Testing is going good! v1.0 is imminent. 15 days ago
If 1.0 was imminent 15 days ago - I guess that means that now we can expect it any second

Forget that was ever posted. Unexpected holiday delays, but it is very close.

Multi-channel is not making it into v1.0. It will allow a very large site to use multiple subdomains to handle the load of ArrowChat and make it handle any amount of users. However, we are redesigning subdomains, but I cannot release more information on that at this time.

v1.0 is ready for release. It may be a few days as we're waiting on something else. In the meantime, we'll be working on the store.
