We are going to have to wait until v1.8.1 to put multiple chat rooms in. It was a bigger change that we expected, but the good news is that the bulk of the work is done. Everything that was limiting multiple chat rooms has been fixed in the code.
As a matter of fact, it technically already works but there is no user interface for it. Embedding or popping out multiple chat rooms will work just fine.
