jQuery 1.5 - Problems...

Seems like there is compatibility issues with the brand new released jQuery 1.5

If I run that version of jQuery, there is no one on the friends list (it stays on Loading... forever).

And since the Ajax module have been rewrite in this new version, and ArrowChat uses Ajax alot, would it not worth a code update to assure compatibility with this new version?

Ajax Rewrite

Easily the largest change in this release is the complete rewrite of the Ajax module in jQuery. This rewrite helps to fix a lot of gaps that existed in the old Ajax system along with providing a higher level of consistency across the API.

Perhaps the largest change is that a call to jQuery.ajax (or jQuery.get, jQuery.post, etc.) now returns a jXHR object that provides consistency to the XMLHttpRequest object across platforms (and allows you to perform previously-impossible tasks like aborting JSONP requests).

Any plan to update AC so it works with jQuery 1.5 or not?

Of course, but not until it's more stable. I can't wait to start using 1.5 as it should get rid of the "Waiting for channel.domain.com..." problem.

This is kind of disappointing as CometChat works fine under jQuery 1.5 and I've spoken to Paul Irish as well as a few others and they claim that it is backwards compatible so I'm wondering what the problem really is. :S Btw, not dissing on ArrowChat I prefer it over CC but a client of mine has so many modifications that it would take more eons to redo it under the AC structure :P

1.0.4 will support jQuery 1.5. It's just a minor change with the dataFilters.
