Hey all,

When my 'Number of messages' reaches around 10,000, I get a warning to 'Delete chat history'. However, once done (and I have to do this about once every 2 days), my 'Database size' never decreases in size.

It just seems to grow and grow...

I assumed that deleting chat history would bring the database size back down to 0Mb.

Is something wrong? Will this affect performance?

Thanks in advance.

The chat history won't has a significant effect on your database size. In fact, you could probably wait a lot longer than 10,000 messages. Your database is growing most likely because of new users registering and interacting with your site.
