Is it possible to have arrow chat not clear the no expiring channel history? I stay login in practically all day, but if I'm inactive for a little while it clears the channel/lobby window. I would like to maintain the conversation on the channel even if I get out of it.

How hard would it be to make this happen?

Are you talking chat rooms or regular chat history?

Any news on this one? I would also like to have the history not cleared - i.e. if a new user gets into the chat room, he could see what was happening before.

That would be a significant feature if it was modifiable (on/off) via the admin panel. Especially if a new user joins an existing chat.

I believe the messages stay for one hour if I recall correctly, but I see no reason as to why this shouldn't be customizable in the admin panel.

So where do you adjust that?

includes/receive_chatroom_room.php under "START CHATROOM HISTORY RECEIVE". The statement that says:

Code: Select all
sent + 3600 > ".$time."

Thanks that worked. Now how do I adjust the number of messages shown in the history? I'd like to show say the last 1500 messages

It is an option in v1.5.

Jason, I don't see this as an admincp changeable option. Am I just missing it? I'll do a file edit if needed, I just need to know where to look.
