Help with avatar default buddypress

Hello, im trying the arrowchat, but i have a problem... is normal in my buddypress users use avatar default, its ok.. but in the buddy list an chat public the avatar of this users have a X the avatar default no is visible, how i can change the avatar for users with non avatar? or how i can resolve this, please help me, my english is bad sorry, i wait reply

yes, but need exactly the line to modify this, because users with the avatar default (gravatar, wavatar, misterious man, etc.) no is visible in buddy list and chat, only see image with x... please help me
