Hide Bar?

One thing I liked in the Lite demo was that the bar at the bottom was hidden, and only started to show once a chat was initiated. Thus I bought and installed the lite version... Only to find the bar is always shown. Where can I set it to look more like the demo?

For reference, I took a screen shot of the demo. :)
