If you disable the option "Enable Online List" there is no problem on mobile however on desktop the user now has no access to the chat rooms tab because the chat icon is completely gone in the bottom right corner.

As intended...that option is for API use only.

Disabling "Enable Online List" hide the desktop chat tab, completely, as intended? This pretty much forces all admins to have this enabled, or we lose the desktop chat tab. Jason, can you "please" recode it so the chat tab doesn't disappear for desktop users. Ty

No. The use case for that option is the website owner who doesn't want the chat to display at all times. They only want a "Chat with" link on user profile pages, support messaging, etc.

Sorry to bother you, but in this case, we website owners don't want to hide the chat tab, we only want to hide "online users".

Disabling the "online list" shouldn't disable the "chatrooms" (for desktop users). The chat tab should remain visible just like on the mobile side. You have this feature working perfectly for the mobile side. On the mobile side when this feature is disabled, users still have access to all the chatrooms. Thanks

I agree that's how I expected the option to work to remove that tab like it does on mobile. I have several other major dislikes with this new version thats prevented me from using it. Jackal if I am not mistaken you run a similar site to mine most likely just a different niche.. are you running V4 on your site?

Yes sir, with this feature disabled only the "online list tab" should go away, not the chatroom tab. That's why we need the "big blue chat circle button" to stay visible, just like it does on the mobile side. (smr891 running v3.0). Thank you all.

The desktop side has a huge privacy bug: I just notice when you're having a private conversation (1 on 1 ) other accounts pop up on the same window. So the person who you are currently chatting with... turns out to be someone else sending a private message. I still have Enable Online List disabled so don't know if this is causing the bug. Again this is for desktop only. Logoff and tested several times. And the same thing happen I see multiple accounts on the same private chat window.

Just speculating that something is wrong with the integration. What platform is this?

Well, so far it seems to be happening for desktop users only. I have not seen this on the mobile end, yet. This was a clean fresh installation. Using Datingscript, with Google Chrome.
