I noticed yesterday (when 1.4 wasn't yet available for download) that the subdomain folder, included in the 1.31 download, didn't have the config.php file in it. I fought with my Arrowchat installation until I finally just gave up and decided to try again today. Today I see that the 1.4 download is available. I removed my Arrowchat installation completely, including my db, and started over. The only files I retained were my config.php and functions_receive.php for my standalone installation. After completing the installation process (Upgrade wouldn't authenticate me), I replaced the config.php and functions_receive.php files with my originals. I also saw that Jason mentioned to add "&v=1.0.4" to the footer of the type="js" portion.

NADA! :? Any ideas?

Sounds like the database wasn't completely removed. Try the upgrade folder or repair utility.

I got it working. I had to do quite a bit of updating in my functions_receive.php file in the includes folder since I have a stand-alone. Once I got the changes made, it went to work. The one thing I've noticed is that on Firefox and Google Chrome, if I want to click on any tabs, be it Applications, chat room, or chat box, notifications, or the hide tab, I can't just place my mouse over the tab. I have to slowly move my mouse to the very top of that tab before I'm able to click. It's like the link area is only 1px high. I've had a lot of feedback from other users that experience the same issue. I don't have that issue on the Arrowchat.com website. P.S. How do I change the width of the Applications tab with the arrowchat arrow symbol to be 16x16 like you have on arrowchat.com?
