Wrong number og new messages

Hello,

I just installed Arrowchat and faced with a strange problem:

I get a private chat message. I answer this message and close private chat window. My chat partner is sending me a message again. New minimized private chat window appears and I see that I have 1 new message. I don't read it. After a few seconds I see that I have 2 new messages.

This happends all the time if I close private chat window with X.
If I just minimize chat partner's window without closing, the number of new messages is correct.

Any ideas?

One more question.

Is it ncessary to include these files in header:

<script type="text/javascript" src="/arrowchat/includes/js/jquery-ui.js"></script>

if there is already included one Jquery file:

jquery-1.4.2.min.js 

? I tried to remove both arrowchat's files and it looks that everything works fine but maybe some problems may appear later?

P.S. in demo installations there is no such problem with wrong number of new messages.

Is it possible to get any help in this forum? It looks that only pre-sales questions are welcome and answered here. I have heard that there are support problems in Cometchat but here is almost the same.

Can't find out why after closing PM window on the next received message I see that I have 2 new messages (actually I have 1). If I don't close PM window, everything is OK.

And can somebody explain what is the difference between jquery.js file which is included in Arrowchat package and Jquery jquery-1.4.2.min.js file? Do I need Arrowchat's jquery.js file if I have already included a Jquery file in my website's header? What is jquery-ui.js file? Is it needed if I don't use video chat, applications etc? This information should be included in Arrowchat's documentation.

Just discovered that exists ArrowChat Lite edition with only the basic features which loads 10 times faster. Unfortunately, there is no explanation what are the "basic features" and what loads 10x times faster (javascripts? page?) :(

Removed from the website all other javascripts to see if there are no script conflicts. It doesn't help. When receiving first private chat message, the chat shows that I have 1 new private message. When I don't read it, after a few seconds I see that I have 2 new messages. Actually I have 1.

Does anyone know how the chat calculates the number of new messages. Which script does it? It just counts unread mesages in "arowchat" table or the number of new mesages is stored somewhere else?

Upgraded Arrowchat to version 1.0.6 but no changes - the same problem with wrong number of messages.

It's simply a matter of the sessions not being saved, probably an error in the receive file. I suggest you download v1.0.6 and replace the receive/receive_core.php file.
