I finally got my chat running stable on my Jamroom site. The chat works just great on the main page. I'm wondering though, if I used the chat on my artist pages and their control panel, how much of an impact would there be on page loads & traffic? I'd love to have the chat on all the pages of the site including artist profiles, but I'm afraid it might slow down the site, especially with so many robots indexing my pages.

Robots won't have an effect on the chat. You shouldn't have any problems adding it to every page and you can always take it off if it does cause problems.
