arrowchat and social engine

just signed up for the trial version of arrowchat to use with social engine, installation went ok but its not showing users who are online. Think this would be a great addon to my site but its not working.

Can you elaborate? The online list is empty? I hate to ask the obvious, but you have added users as friends, correct? If so, check yoursite.com/arrowchat/public/debug/ and see if any errors come up.

yes user has friends, ran debug and shows this message The User ID is not set. ArrowChat is acting as if no one is logged in which may or may not show the bar depending on your settings.

config and intergration file was written correctly during installation, in the admin of arrowchat it shows the correct amount of users, when i change the $userid = NULL; from NULL to user it shows only the admin as being logged in so i know its connecting to the database i just think it has to do with the intergation file not being right for social engine 4.2.3
