Chat messages showing as received instead of sent

I reported this before but I wanted to place it here to see if there are any updates. When talking with users sometimes a message I send will appear under their messages as if they sent it. This is a really annoying bug and happens very frequently on my site. Is there any fix for this yet?

This feels like it's just got worse lately. It seems like every other message I send shows up incorrectly. Can we please have a fix ASAP? Thanks.
