Arrow chat not displaying avatars in ipb 3.4.7

I recently upgraded to IPB 3.4.7 when I moved from a shared hosting services to a VPS system. Arrowchat works fine with the exception of the avatars not displaying. I have checked the settings in the admin area as well as re uploaded the files for arrowchat 1.7.2 in binary mode and I cant seem to figure this out. Has anyone experienced this before?
