Ipad view is displaying the mobile chat and not normal bar

Hi,

I have installed version 1.8 and very happy with the new changes, including the mobile chat. However I have one issue (which is critical for my site) when a user visits on an iPad, they are presented with the mobile chat and not the full chat bar.

Am I missing something in the setup? I have tried it on a windows tablet and that displays the full bar as it should. I know ipads are marginally smaller than my tablet, so is it a matter of changing some code somewhere to increase the size before the mobile view is displayed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
