I just installed trial version for testing purpose on SMF 2.0.
Even though I'm logged in but still error message shows
that "YOU MUST REGISTER OR LOGIN TO USE CHAT"

You selected SMF V2 and not SMF V1 during installation, correct?

I select SMF 2.0 while installation.

I'll have to check and make sure that SMF didn't change anything recently. Technical support will be able to get it working for you should you decide to purchase.
