Uploading multiple files with IP.Gallery when ArrowChat Bar is installed still doesn't work. Hasn't done since 1.5.11.

I made a ticket about it, tracker.php?p=1&t=188 and when I've protested to show proof I've had no response. Similar to what happened on the Facebook fanpage.

Look; I'm sorry. But it IS Arrowchat causing this.

If it isn't ArrowChat that's the problem then can you please tell me why it works without the bar and doesn't work with the bar?

Done, same thing I get. One uploads the rest stay stuck on "Pending"

If you remove the integration (IE, Revert the skin back to default templates.) The multiple upload will work.

Tested it in IE 7, 8, 9, FireFox 13, Chrome, Opera, and Safari (all the browsers we support). Tested on both Admin and members. Tested on flash and basic uploader. It works perfect each time.

It sounds like some weird setting that is only on specific computers. Unfortunately, I don't even know where to start with that.

I will say that this is a flash product. ArrowChat is JavaScript. I cannot think of a situation where ArrowChat would interfere with a flash object, and if it did, there would be nothing we can do from our end to fix it.

The Gallery isn't only Flash, it too is powered by JavaScript too. Could there be an interference between the scripts? Because it's not just my computer that's affected 100% of members who tested the problem for me said it's affecting them.

So you can upload multiple files in one go? As in:

    In Flash Uploader
Click Upload Button then Choose Files (after selecting the album to upload to)
    Selecting multiple files
    Then uploading them.
None of them get stuck on Pending?

How come then it does for me and then when I remove the ArrowChat Bar it works properly again?

The flash uploader is not returning JavaScript through regular means (if at all). Flash cannot be decoded. This means that the only way to fix this problem (if we even can) would be to see a JavaScript error occur in the browser.

Do you have any JavaScript errors happening?

Nope, and on my server there's nothing in any of the error logs (I just tried again with IE9 on yours) are there any error logs on your server about the incident?

This would not be a PHP error; it would be JavaScript, if anything. The fact that there are no JavaScript errors tells me that this is indeed an issue in the flash that cannot be fixed from our end.

I'm still curious to know why when the flash bar is removed it suddenly works again.

Could ArrowChat's own flash upload feature be conflicting with IP.Board's flash upload feature?

I found this in http://www.mydomain.com/arrowchat/external.php?type=js:

*Removed Code: Please do not post code this long*

How can I comment this out to check?

I think ArrowChat's jQuery is probably causing the issue. Try commenting out or removing the JQuery scripts - let me know :-) I'm having users with display issues, and it's a jquery conflict. I'm going to work on this tomorrow (today is holiday) to try to figure it out also.

Arrowchat is causing the issue, It's gotta be sorted soon. :/

I posted a ticket and they said its unreproducable. This is not correct. It happens to me, exactly how you said Tripp, even Invision Power looked in to it and said it's one of the arrowchat javascripts clashing with the upload system.

Would you be able to sort it please arrowchat support :P Come on seriously it ain't just tripp this is a known bug now ;)

There are no errors in the javascript code at all. Can reproduce this both on my main forum and on my test forum. You are more than welcome to access to anything you need in order to test the problem from me, just ask.. I absolutly love arrowchat, I think you have produced an excellent product, but at the moment I may be forced to remove as I have a very image oriented forum unfortunatly :(

I have found that placing the ArrowChat footer code at the top of the page (right below the header code) will solve this issue. This is because IP.Board loads SWFUpload later in the page and it prevents ArrowChat from loading the necessary code.
