chat: different icons on desktops and phones?

hi,

i wanted a wrench instead of a gear, so we created a wrench icon, removed the gear icon and replaced that 'slot" in the sprite .png in mobile/includes/css/images/icons-18-white.png.

now on desktops using the mobile site address, i see the wrench.
but on tabbies and phones (ipad, ipod touch) i still see the gear.

is / are there (a) different set(s) of icons for use with tabbies/phones and desktops (note that the desktop is dialed into the same IP address as the tabbies phones, and they're all showing our "m." site)?

if anyone can help with this, i'd appreciate it.

found it! for some reason, the setup uses icons-18-white.png and icons-36-white.png and bg-core.png. hadda change all three.
