How to switch to Lite Edition?

I currently have the Premium Edition of Arrowchat installed, but would now like to switch to Lite Edition. Do I have to do a clean re-install or can I just overwrite files and remove unnecessary stuff, etc? What are the best practices for this?

You just need to overwrite all the files. No re-installation is necessary and all settings and database information will be saved.
