Users can View chat but not type any message

group_id1= Allowed users
group_id2= Non-Allowed users
Hello guys I want to implement something like when a user logs in to my site and if he is in the group_id2, he can see the people chatting but he won't be able to chat until he goes into group_id1.

I have assigned group_id perfectly but only thing is when the user is in group_id2 it shows that this user is not allowed to chat. Instead I want him to see the chat. Also I want to display a custom message there.

How can I do that? Where is the code for that?
