Trying to find proper place to insert code into JomSocial

I need to insert the step 5 codes (inside head tag and before body close tag) into php files in JomSocial. I got it to work on the profile page only, but not anywhere in the rest of the JomSocial. I'm php stupid, so can someone please help?

Still not able to get ArrowChat on all pages of JomSocial. I put the header code + body code that was given at the end of ArrowChat installation into profile.php, but that is page-specific to the profile tab only apparently. When clicking to another JomSocial tab, the chat disappears.

Somebody, please HELP????
