After users 'go offline' they are unable to see ArrowChat

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I implemented ArrowChat on my website and have even chatted with a couple of logged in users. However some users have told me that they went offline/hid the bar right away as it was implemented and they can no longer see it (Even the tiny arrow to unhide). I logged into their accounts and can see it on my browser. I even went in through admin and unchecked the 'hidden' box in their accounts.

Additionally some users report not being able to see it at all... is this a browser compatibility issue?

It works on all the major browsers. Do you have a doctype on your page? I believe IE causes problems if there is no doctype.
