I get the following message when I click on the "Install" link of this plugin.

"The install file did not contain a folder location for this application."

No other plugins or templates are installed, a simple default Arrowchat. Only the necessary settings have been altered.

Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

It's working. You've just uploaded it wrong. Either not in the applications folder or it's not like: applications/share/

hmmm....It is in the applications folder and it is like applications/share

While in admin I also see and click on the "Install" link under admin/Manage/Applications

But the "The install file did not contain a folder location for this application." Comes up every time I click the link.

I have even re-downloaded the file 5 separate times thinking that maybe the file was corrupted.

The URL taken to after install attempt is /arrowchat/admin/manage.php?do=appsettings&f=share

I met the same error. You can fix it as follows:

<? ----->>>> <?php

in install_config.php file

Thank you GMyers, that worked like a charm. Maybe if someone else had properly tested this, they may have seen the error as well.
