Are there any plans to give the video/voice part of arrowchat some love?

The first and major issue is having to configure my camera and mic each time I want to broadcast video.

The flash app-let thing also seems slow to load and kind of poky. Myself and someone who works with software for a living had a hard time getting in the room at the same time due to pop-up and permission issues (Do you want to allow...).

Not too keen on seeing the login as guest then changing of the nickname, but I doubt site users will care.

Just seems like an after thought / crude hack while the rest of arrowchat (so far) is so slick.

How about using HTML5 video and device support/functions with flash fall back?

It's all TinyChat and whether they decide to upgrade things from their end.

The business edition does not use TinyChat and this may work better for you. You can demo the business edition's video chat here: http://www.arrowchat.com/demo/

Interesting, thanks.

If I had a user base instead of a beta site with no users I would be very tempted to go the business edition route.

Any chance of replacing TinyChat with http://www.tokbox.com/ ?

I second TokBox. Looks a lot better than TinyChat.
