Hi. I just installed the 4.0 update.

The biggest complaint I’m getting right now is that usernames can’t be clicked on in the chat room to add it to the text box and comment to a person (like “@username” would automatically be added to the text box).

I know this was an store add-on previously but believe it eventually became a part of the chat..?

Will this feature be coming back or is there a way to “install” or add it on again? Nearly every chat room repeat member I have has made complaint about it being gone. 😔

The username shows up for me, but for some crazy reason, the profile photo is not clickable.

That feature was changed. Instead, you hover over the message and hit the reply icon.

Reply hover is not available on mobile.
In my opinion, once the thumbnail photo is clicked, it should display the following
1. profile link
2. reply to the comment

Users would like that.

Reply hover is not available on mobile.
In my opinion, once the thumbnail photo is clicked, it should display the following
1. profile link
2. reply to the comment

Users would like that.
You tap and hold on mobile.

Oh, did not know that, thank you. Wondering how will the users know to do just that. Seems like the a click or tap is a little more practical. Just my 2 cents.

our users miss the single click/tap because:
- on desktop they need to hover and wait for the reply arrow to appear
- on mobile when you hold an avatar on some devices this causes the browser to open the save image dialog (see attached). This is not very practical and actually annoying.

Single click/tap was much more effective and also consistent between devices/platforms.

There's no innovation being done on mobile or desktop for these features. Every app and website uses the exact same method: hovering on desktop and tapping and holding on mobile.

Doing anything different than what 99.9% of what everyone else is doing would cause considerable confusion.
