Would be nice to have an option to have the users auto join a certain channel as well have the keep channel open while minimized ticked on automatically.
What you guys think?

Definitely a good idea, we'll be allowing more chat room customization in v1.1.

A default channel which each user auto-joins would be a great thing indeed, looking forward to that!
Also it would be great to be able to join several chatrooms at once.
